THE JAPANESE PRINCESS

Pulled out of obscurity, this relatively undiscovered opera is on the rise for revivals...but still has only been produced by less than half a dozen opera companies in the world! Don't miss this amazing chance to see this hidden opera gem in a historic, FIRST EVER, English performance.

Who wins in the end?

Imagined love or real love?

Enjoy this one-act opera by C. Saint-Saën, performed by tenor Dr. David Sauer and soprano Dr. Amy Nielsen.

Also features Japanese dancing by St.George Dance members and

artwork by Eva Lorentzen, and a Japanese song pre-show by the Dixie Japanese Club.

WHEN: Feb. 22 (SUU Thorley Music Hall, Cedar City) @ 7:30 pm

Feb. 23 & 28 (Dixie Eccles Concert Hall, St. George) @ 7:30 pm

Pre-show @ 7:15 pm (Japanese Song)

This project is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts and the Washington County Recreation Arts & Parks grant.
